Bahamasair departs Nassau for Inagua at 9:15 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. The mail-boat, MV Mathilda calls every week from Nassau. The MV Cecile Erickson services the island weekly from Cape Canaveral, Florida. Mathew Town is a Bahamas Customs and Immigration International Port of Entry.

Entry Requirements

American and Canadian citizens may enter without passports if they are in possession of birth certificates or photograph identification cards. A return airline ticket is required.

Departure Tax

Bahamians and persons of other nationalities traveling abroad must pay $15.00 departure tax. No departure tax is levied on children under six years of age.
